Canelo American Bulldog Mix Medford, NY

Canelo is a 4 year old beautiful red brindle American bulldog.
Canelo has been at a local municipal shelter for 2 years after being an owner surrender.

Canelo had seemed to reside himself to the routine of the shelter. He seems very shut down and quite aloof upon meeting him. It took him a little while to warm up.

When we brought him to the yard and the leash comes off - his personality blossoms! He gets the zoomies and runs in a bunch of circles and loves to play with stuffies!

Canelo is s strong boy. He is currently learning better manners in a leash. He is learning to take treats gently. He is a wonderful candidate for an owner who loves to attend training classes. Training only furthers the bond you have with your new fur friend.

Although he did previously live with children because of his size and his breed natural protective instincts he would do best in a quiet low traffic adult only home or a home without small children.
