Meet Callie!

Callie is a loving Terrier Mix who weighs 14 pounds and is 4 months old. This sweet girl and her siblings were relinquished to HART when she was 8 weeks old. We were told she is a Jack Russell mix but we suspect there is something larger mixed in there. We’re guessing. She is expected to be closer to a medium size dog when done growing.

Callie adores people and will happily run and jump up in your lap. She loves to give kisses and snuggle.

She enjoys playing with her siblings and tends to be the leader of the group. The German Shepherd in her foster home avoids her excited energy that involves climbing on her and jumping at her face She loves to play with toys of all kinds but likes anything with a squeaker the best, that is until she plays with it so much she breaks the squeaker! She has recently been learning how to play fetch and enjoys playing it with small squeaky toys.

Callie is mostly potty trained, potty pads are used indoors for the occasional accident. She does have a tendency to happy tinkle when she gets too excited. Approaching her and petting her head before picking her up usually prevents that from happening.

All HART dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on all vaccines, including bordatella and rabies. They are heartworm tested and on preventative for heartworm, fleas, and ticks.
