Cal #6 Chocolate Labrador Retriever Mix Killingworth, CT

Cal #6 is a 2 year old pup overflowing with charm and charisma. He's a big boy at 105 pounds, but not overweight. Cal was found astray in New York City, but bears no emotional scars. His sweet nature is infectious, warming the hearts of everyone he meets. He's a curious explorer, always ready to discover new things. Cal is smart, and his playfulness is a joy to behold as he bounds around with his favorite toys. He's a friend to all, and is eager to become a part of a loving family. He gets along with other dogs; is housebroken sleeps peacefully through the night in his foster dad's bed. He does need to work on a few manners, and can get into mischief of the glove/scarf/remote-control stealing and sleeve-tugging kind. Cal is active and he would love to have a fenced yard where he can run and play; afterward, he'll reward you by taking a nap. Cal should be adopted because his heart is as big as his smile, and he's ready to share that love with a forever family. He should go to a family without small children, whom he might knock over when he gets a case of the zoomies.

To expedite the process, please follow the step-by-step instructions outlined and submit an adoption application listing 3-5 dogs of interest. ADOPTION FEES: $495 non-refundable adoption fee for all vet expenses (spay/neuter, shots, etc.) and transportation to ensure your lab gets to you in a safe, professional manner. All fees may be paid using PayPal, cashier's checks, or money orders. Labs4rescue does not accept personal checks for adoption fees. All adopters must pay their Labs4rescue adoption fee prior to the rescue shipping their dog.

Residents of Massachusetts or New Hampshire are required to pay an additional $125 fee, which defrays the cost of their state's mandatory 48 hour isolation and examination by a licensed veterinarian.
