CAESAR Shepherd & Husky Mix Crossville, TN

How sad! This beautiful dog has been sitting at the shelter since August 2022. He is now getting depressed and staff is taking him to the front office to sit with them during their open business hours and while they eat lunch in the late afternoon. Unless you are the dog sitting in one of the kennels at the shelter for that long, you cannot possibly know how depressing it can be as the dog who has no permanent home. CAESAR is a beautiful white male dog with one blue eye and one brown eye. He is listed as a 50 pound, five year old Shepherd mix. Staff thinks the mix includes Husky. He was surrendered by his owner in mid August after an incident involving a child. Staff has now evaluated him and determined that he is adoptable. However, it would need to be by a family or a person who does not have a young child living on the premises. CAESAR has not yet been neutered and that must be done before he can go home with you. So, CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared!
