Meet Butters

Buttercup a.k.a. Butters came to us in January as part of a feral pack of dogs that had been roaming in Sevier County. Staff worked with her to get her used to humans and then she went on a board & train with North Star K9 Training, then Camp K-9. After completing training, she has been fostered by our Director ever since. With cases like this where the dog is undersocialized it’s important follow a relay race type strategy. The more people she meets and gets comfortable with, the more social/adoptable Butters becomes! She is already doing so well, but it’s definitely time for her to meet a new family! If you as an animal lover have been asking yourself how to make a huge impact, Butters is your girl.
