Look at this Butterball, she's listed on Yakima valley pet rescue site. She's sweet and cuddles. She is treat motivated for sure. Butters came to us at 9-10 weeks and 18 pounds, she is now 12 weeks and growing like a puppy should.
Butters will melt your heart. She loves to play with her older foster dog sisters and then settles in for human snuggles and hugs. She knows sit and kennel. Shes doing well kenneling at night with no issues and has had very few accidents inside once we've settled in with a routine. She doesn't love walking with a leash, but she will follow her big sisters anywhere so she walks along side of the pack easily. She seems to be a yellow lab mix and has those qualities, happy, affectionate, and likes to have fun and she's sweet and gentle with our cats. We do not know how she is with children, but since she is a puppy, she probably would be fine with respectful children. Butters will receive her second round of vaccinations this weekend and will need additional rounds, speak to your veterinary office about follow up.

An application must be filled out and accepted before a meet can be set up. If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time.
We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes. Therefore, meets and adoptions take place at either our office or at a place chosen by the adoption coordinator.
If a pet has 'Adoption Pending' beside its name, an adoption is imminent. Please fill out an application anyway because adoptions don't always go through.
Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet you'd like to apply for.
