Meet *Buttercup*! This adorable little girl has a heart full of love and endless amounts of affection to give, but she needs a special home where her unique needs can be met with patience and care. *Buttercup* has idiopathic epilepsy, which means she will need to stay on medication for the rest of her life and maintain a good relationship with a veterinary neurologist. Her condition is well managed with the right care, and she's a happy, lively pup despite it.

Due to some learning difficulties, *Buttercup* is still working on understanding boundaries, play bite inhibition, and social cues. Because of this, her perfect home would be one without small children or reactive dogs, as she doesn't always know how to respond to corrections or overstimulation.

What *Buttercup* needs most is a home with patience and experienced special needs pet owners who can provide her with the guidance, structure, and gentle training she requires. In return, she will shower you with love, loyalty, laughs and joy every single day!

All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. This is all included in their adoption fee that goes in as a donation to help us cover their medical costs and continue to help other animals in need.
