Meet Butterball
This handsome little dude is Butterball!
Butterball is an approximately 1-year old male Chihuahua/Dachshund mix who weighs around 11 lbs. He was rescued from a small shelter in Oklahoma.
Butterball is a sweetheart! He will be your constant companion, no matter where you go! He can be a little nervous, so a home without toddlers would be best. He forms bonds quickly and will be a loyal and devoted companion.
With plenty of attention and love, Butterball could be an only dog, or he would do great in a home with a calmer playmate who gives him time to settle into a new situation. Big dogs intimidate him, and dogs with super high energy overwhelm him. He has also shown no interest in the cats in his foster home.
In the short time we have had him, he has come a long way with his confidence and that should continue in a secure and loving forever home. He does need a securely fenced yard.
Butterball settle down quickly in his kennel, is house-trained (but may have accidents at first), and will need continued assistance with leash training.
Butterball is neutered, current on vaccines, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $225.
