Buster Douglas Cattle Dog Mix Cabool, MO

Buster Douglas or BD to his friends, is about a year old, and 52 lbs of energy. He loves going for walks and exploring. He does pull some on leash when he gets a scent to follow, but he listens well and is learning more everyday. BD loves to play fetch and pretty good about bringing the ball back and dropping it so you can throw it again. He has a lot of energy and must have a secure fenced yard, so he can run and play and be safe while doing so. Buster tends to follow his nose and he likes to chase so must be in a fence or on leash if outside a fence.

BD is accustomed to using a doggy door and has done very well with that.

BD is a fun loving boy, who will make a great companion for someone who is active and will let him be part of activities and fun times. Someone who has a firm but patient hand in helping him with instructions so he can be the best boy he can be! He loves to go for car rides, and is a great swimmer!

He is not a candidate for a home with cats or small children. BD would prefer to be the only dog in the home so he can have all the loving and attention.
