Bunny German Shepherd Dog Pflugerville, TX

Bunny is an estimated 1 year old female German shepherd. She is on the smaller size weighing about 45 pounds, we don't believe that she will get much bigger besides her gaining weight. She's done a get job despite her past of being an outdoors only dog she's done so well adjusting to being "inside dog." She's crate trained, potty trained and very smart. She walks great on a leash, does great in public on leash. she loves attention from people, and she gets a lot of it always star of the show!

She has gotten along great with her foster's submissive male but not so much with fosters bossy female dog. She gets along with other rescue dogs at our events, does wonderful no problem so it may be bossy foster sister the issue. She's very much a lap dog, she wants to be beside her human receiving cuddles. She's also very alert of her surroundings and a good protector.

She has food insecurity from her being emancipated when she arrived to us. We believe with love and patience she can be shown that it's not necessary she will always have food. She had a very rough life at a starting young age she would go for days no food, starving. She's still learning to take treats from you gently like mentioned, she's very food motivated and wants to grab the treat quickly but not aggressive.

She's also at times skittish with loud noises, she doesn't run away but ducks down scared when she's uncertain.

She has never shown human aggression and seems to be scared of men with hats on because she will bark at them being unsure of their intentions oh just don't like hats. She hasn't been selective with humans only female dogs (the ones that are too in her face.) She's done well with kids we would say older kids would be best for her. She's a great, sweet dog and ideal for a family looking for a smaller German shepherd or for a first time German shepherd owner. Bunny is still very young so she will need a family/individual that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication.

She has been vetted and are up to date on all her age-appropriate vaccinations.
