Meet Bumble
When we first saw Bumble at a shelter in Texas, it looked like she was trying to disappear into the walls. She was cowering in a corner, trying to make herself as small as possible. When we stopped to say hi, she growled and bared her teeth in fear, but something in her eyes begged for a second chance.
Eventually, she allowed us to carry her out to the play yard. After a few minutes, she started to lean over for pets and give kisses! We had to return her to the kennel temporarily but promised her we would be back. It was a pleasant surprise when we came back the next day and found her smiling, wiggly and wagging her tail!
Bumble is now about 6 months old and 25 lbs. She's SO affectionate and loves to play with other dogs. She's also house trained and good in her crate! She's fostered in NYC and is available for adoption anywhere in the US as long as the adopter is willing/able to travel to NYC to meet and adopt her.
