Meet Buddy
YOU MUST HAVE AN APPROVED APPLICATION IN ORDER TO MEET OUR PETS.
Buddy was found lying by the roadside on a highway in dire straits – severely emaciated and homeless, so weak he could barely stand, full of worms and with both eyes infected.
He was taken to the vet to receive all the needed care and he is now doing great, happy and healthy and enjoying life!
He is wonderful with other dogs, kids including toddlers, and farm animals.
He is now 105 pounds and looking and feeling wonderful! He is so handsome!
Buddy is estimated to be around 4 years old. He has bright white, healthy teeth with barely any tarter.
The vet says he has reduced vision, probably from birth, but that does not limit him or cause him stress and he is a very easy dog to take care of!
He uses his nose and ears perfectly and it is hard to tell his vision is limited, he has adapted so well.
He learns all about new surroundings very quickly and acclimates easily.
Buddy is a SUPER sweet guy, a total love bug, who only wants to be close to family. He is a humble, gentle guy with no expectations, so he greatly appreciates all love and kindness shown towards him.
He is well mannered and gentle and has no problem sharing space or food with other dogs. Everyone loves this guy!
Buddy has not had any inside accidents so should be very easy to house train in his new environment once he is shown the routine and potty schedule.
He does not jump up on people. He takes treats gently.
He is a quiet guy with no barking, even if other dogs are raising a ruckus.
He is a strong guy but is great on a leash, no problem, and he enjoys walks.
He is quite content to simply hang out calmly on a porch outside, does great with farm animals, and he is also fine with cats.
He does not like being confined away from family and doggie friends but has done great, peaceful and quiet, when he has boarded in a kennel since he knows other dogs and people are close by.
A fenced yard in his new home would be fabulous since he loves being outside and will hang out close to the house. He likes hanging out in a cozy dog house too.
Buddy really is an amazing dog who has impressed us with his kind soul and peaceful nature.
He would do great in most any home in which someone was around most of the time and in which he was an integral part of daily family life. Being alone or isolated is not his cup of tea.
He would be ideal as a family dog in a home with lots of companionship (people and dogs) and a fenced yard in which he could freely enjoy the great outdoors.
He is smart, compliant and eager to make everyone happy.
If you are looking for a very sweet, gentle, friendly, kind, easy going, affectionate, gets-along-with-the world kind of dog, please apply to meet Buddy!!
