Buddy Dandie Dinmont Terrier Mix Suffolk, VA

APPLICATION IS REQUIRED BEFORE ANY ADOPTION CONSIDERED
Buddy is a 2 year old dog found in the middle of the road, with a cable embedded in his neck. A good Samaritan took him to the vet and paid to have it surgically removed.
This boy came to Suffolk Humane with little socialization (probably from being tied outside for his short life) and craves attention. He has been treated for HW disease and will need a gentle hand to train him. His leash skills are non-existent. He wants to play with the leash, likes to bite your feet while walking and sometimes your pant legs. He thinks everything is a game. This can be amusing at times but quickly becomes a concern when person trips over him!
Fenced yard required, no children under 10 as they might misinterpret his enthusiastic mouthiness.
Patient person needed to show Buddy the correct way to do things, without inhibiting his enthusiasm for life. If you have the patience to add a wonderful addition to your home, please let us know. He might be housetrained because of the routine he has with his foster.
