Buddy is an approximately 8 year old, Schnauzer/Poodle mix is our best guess. He weighs 20lbs and he's very soft. He is dog and cat friendly. He came into our Rescue after his owner died unexpectedly. He was well taken care of and groomed regularly. He was noted by the grandchildren of the deceased as having been "spoiled" and an indoor dog. While in foster, he has demonstrated enjoying playing in the yard and with the other dogs (big and small) in the home. However, he could also be an only dog as his owner had only him. He loves soft comfy blankets and appreciates massages. He hasn't attempted to sleep on the furniture or get on the couch, even though he is allowed to here. He walks well on leash and loves to go for walks.
Buddy is potty trained and has had no accidents in the home. He likes to be around people. He takes awhile to warm up as he has had a great loss with the death of his owner.
Buddy is crate trained but actually dislikes being in the crate and prefers just to lay in a bed or on the deck in the sun. He loves to be included and wants to find a home that has the time and love to give him. He wants to get over his heartbreak of losing his human Dad too soon.
