Buddy American Staffordshire Terrier & Siberian Husky Mix Dillsburg, PA

If you're looking for a new companion to cuddle on the couch with and watch Netflix together, Buddy is the guy for you! Sweet and handsome Buddy was originally found as a stray with another dog, but is now ready to find a family to spoil him and help him build his confidence.

Buddy is extremely loveable and a stage 5 clinger! He has to keep his eyes on you and will make sure you are safe and supervised if you have to leave the room. His favorite spot is to lay on the couch next to you, and he has no preference what's on TV (what a great roommate!). He'll even keep you warm by laying on top of you if you let him! Buddy hopes to live rent free in his FURever home but will pay you back in hugs, kisses and lots of unconditional love. Buddy sleeps well in a crate, but of course would much rather keep you warm at night!

Buddy loves other dogs of all sizes and would do well living in a home with them. He knows basic commands already and is capable of learning so many new tricks! Buddy hopes that his new family will provide him lots of chew toys, or even a backyard full of sticks and balls to fetch with. He also loves to play tug-of-war!

Buddy can be fearful of men and strangers, so Buddy is really hoping to find a quiet home where men do not visit too often. With time, patience, and dedicated socialization, we think that Buddy will be able to overcome his fear. He has had slow introductions with our male volunteers and done very well!
