Buddy Dalmatian Mounds, OK

Buddy is a sweet older gentleman. He has lived his life as an outdoor-only dog, sometimes chained to the fence in the very back of the yard with only a small, broken dog house for shelter. His owner contacted us just before a terrible cold snap/ice storm here so he wouldn't have to keep the old dog inside. Buddy was used in a backyard breeding operation and then basically cast aside. He deserves SO much more!

We're not 100% sure of Buddy's age, but believe he is 12+. Don't let that age scare you off. He's very healthy and gets around great. He'd still happy to go for walks and loves romping around the backyard. But what he REALLY loves is having a human to snuggle up to. He's now sleeping on the bed like a champ (though he will agree to a dog bed if he must!) and making up for all of those lost years. Buddy does have a few quirks leftover from his past life. He doesn't like to be grabbed by his collar and we will not place him in a home with any children. We want him to have the calm, quiet home he deserves.

Adopting a senior dog is such a wonderful, fulfilling thing to do. It's quality over quantity and the quality is profound. Think about opening your home to sweet Buddy!

Homes must be in Northeastern Oklahoma or surrounding areas. We do NOT ship dogs.
