Bud is a handsome little man with a heart of gold. He was raised in deplorable conditions and somehow his natural gentleness stayed in tact. He came into rescue with multiple dogs yet his beautiful personality allowed him to be a benefactor. He put his campanions first and waited for everyone to get treats before he ate his. He displayed a natural protectiveness and encouragement with the other dogs and he stayed by their side while they mustered the courage to move forward. Although he is the consumate gentleman by nature, his manners may still need a little refining. With his willing and affectionate manner he could be easily groomed to be your phenomenal life partner. Bud is 5 years old and weighs about 13 lbs.

Please consider opening your heart and home to our Bud. "To be born a gentleman is an accident, to die a gentleman is an achievement". Bud has earned the right to and is eagerly awaiting a loving home.

Like many of our rescue dogs, we are not sure how well housetrained Bud is. But with gentle persuasion, some consistency, structure and praise he should be easy to train.

Bud's is a coated dog (hair grows continuously) and will need professional grooming every 6-8 weeks.

Bud's adoption fee is $450

This fee includes at least one health exam at our veterinarian while in our care, altering, all vaccinations including rabies (as permitted by age), a pre-adoption professional grooming and a microchip with lifetime membership that never will cost you a fee.

All dogs also leave with a new collar and or harness and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble that is being fed at the rescue.

Adoption fees also allow us the ability to put funds towards the next homeless or unwanted dog in need of rescue!

Please understand that sometimes we get numerous applications for specific dogs and as a volunteer-based rescue, we do not always have the time to respond to each one. We do our best to choose the most suitable home for each dog based on their specific personality and needs.

Please note you MAY NOT be contacted for up to 10 days to schedule a meet and greet if your family is the most suitable for this rescue dog. Regrettably, we do not have the manpower currently to contact all applicants. We keep ALL applications in our database so please feel free to
