Buckley Bernese Mountain Dog & Dalmatian Mix Parkville, MO

My name is Buckley and I arrived back at FOPAS on 5/27/22 due to no fault of mine. The volunteers describe me a charming and lovable! I love to get scratches while I lean into your legs. I am a neutered male Bernese Mountain Dog/Dalmatian mix and was born 5/13/2017. I love being around people and being indoors (I can be difficult to convince to go outside if it is too chilly or rainy, but I will eventually go out to potty with some protest). I’ve been around larger and medium sized dogs with no issues, both male and female. I can be too rough for some dogs, so I haven’t spent much time with dogs under 40lbs. I am known at the shelter for being extremely smart, easygoing, and calm. I am very tall and muscular, and working on putting some weight on. What can I say? I have a high metabolism and burn off calories easily! While living at the shelter is “fine,” I would be MUCH happier in a home where I can be with my people. I have been passed around a lot throughout my life, often being too big or strong for those that had taken me in, so I’m looking for something more serious this time around. If you aren’t looking for forever, then move right along because I’m seeking a FOREVER family this time. I keep my room spotless, don’t tear anything up, and am very quiet in my kennel.
