Meet BUCK: A Sweet, Gentle Soul Looking for a Forever Home

This is BUCK. He's a wonderful 1-1.5 year old dog with a heart full of love and an eagerness to learn. Sadly, BUCK's journey has not been an easy one. He came from a reservation, where his owner struggled with addiction and left him to fend for himself on the streets. BUCK survived by wandering in search of food and shelter, and his spirit was slowly wearing thin from neglect.

When I found BUCK, he was starving for both food and attention, but since then, his life has been transformed. After giving him a long, sudsy bath, I was able to bring him inside for the first time, where he slept soundly and comfortably. He's blossomed since then, showing his true nature - gentle, affectionate, and full of energy.

BUCK is incredibly smart, eager to learn, and very social. He gets along well in the truck, doesn't bite, and has a calm demeanor that makes him easy to be around. He would likely do well with children, given his sweet temperament, though I haven't had the chance to observe him directly with them. He deserves a loving and safe environment where he can continue to thrive.

Unfortunately, due to my upcoming surgeries and health challenges, I am unable to provide the care he deserves. BUCK deserves a family that can give him the attention, love, and care he needs.
