Hi there! My name is Bubs. I am a six year old Cocker Spaniel/Poodle mix, weighing in at 15lbs. I have been used for breeding in a puppy mill my whole life but now I’m in rescue and getting to be a dog!

I have been learning so much since coming into rescue. Living in a house was a big change and I did struggle at first. I was very nervous being inside. But once I got used to my foster mommy holding me I started to settle in. She gave me a bath, trimmed all my dirty hair off me, got all the feces and urine off of me, got all the fleas off me, trimmed my toe nails. Man did I feel better just with that attention!

I am learning potty training and I’ll be honest, it is hard. I’ve never had to watch where I go potty before so I will need a patient home to continue teaching me. I am crate trained. I like other doggies and even like kitties too. I love to eat, I’m a solid boy. I don’t play with toys but I do sometimes run around with my foster doggie siblings outside. I walk well on a leash, I’ll go anywhere with my foster mom. I do fuss when I’m in the car but that should get better the more exposure I get to it.

I am looking for a quieter home so no young kiddos for me. I love to snuggle on the couch touching my foster mommy at all times! I would really like for my new human to be home with me a lot or be able to take me with them so we can go on adventures together; it will help build my confidence more! I like to explore in the backyard so a fenced yard would be great in my new home.

Bubs is neutered, microchipped, just had a dental, up to date on vaccines, current on heartworm preventative, and current on flea preventative. If he sounds like a match for you, please fill out an adoption application using the URL below:
