Meet Bubbles. She and her siblings were dumped and brought to a local shelter. The very full shelter reached out to see if we could get then into foster homes. Of course we said yes! At about 5.5 months of age, they are a bit of a mystery. We think they have lived in a home before since the are doing fine with the crate and seem to be mostly potty trained. Of course in a new home with new routines, they may need housebreaking reminders.

Bubbles is very friendly and sweet. She's great with the many foster dogs in the. home. She loves to fetch and is highly food motivated. We would LOVE her to go to a home with another friendly dog and will make that a priority in the adoption application process.

Because Golden Retrievers are prone to orthopedic issues if spayed early, we are sending her home on a Spay Contract. Adopters will bring them to our veterinarian after they turn a year old, this September. Adopters will sign a contract, we will be very careful about placement of her due to this delayed spay. Adopters will also understand that they will have to 'deal with' a heat cycle in this dog.

Golden Retrievers also need to have grooming as part of any adopter's budget.

This puppy is microchipped and vaccinated to appropriate age, she will need one more booster DHPP around March 2nd. Puppies are good with dogs, cats, kids and more. Being a puppy, they will need lots of training!

Each dog goes home with a goody bag including collar/leash, toys, chews, Kong, and more. You will receive all medical records, microchip transfer form and other paperwork at the time of adoption.

Adoptions typically take place in Stanwood. This puppy is ready for its new home!
Adoption fee is $700. Save-A-Mutt is a registered 501c3 and half of your adoption fee may be tax deductible.

Save-A-Mutt is a foster based rescue, we do not have a facility to visit. Our adoptions are typically done Monday - Saturday, we are closed on Sunday’s to give our volunteers at least one day off. You must be available to do meets and adoptions during that time frame. We can make exceptions only with the approval of the foster home.

Please note, we have approximately a 300 mile adoption radius - Portland OR area and Vancouver BC is the farthest north. We don’t ship dogs, once approved you must pick them up in Snohomish County, WA. Canadian adopters must be able to come to Stanwood WA to pick up your puppy.
