Howdy! I'm Brutus, a handsome 4-year-old shepherd mix, and I’m here to share my unique blend of silliness, snuggles, and splashes with you!
I might come across as a bit stoic at first, but trust me, once I get to know you, I transform into the biggest goofball you’ve ever seen! I love being silly, playing around, and showing affection to my favorite humans. I’ve got a heart of gold, and I’m just waiting for the right person to see it.
When it comes to playtime, I’m all in! My absolute favorite thing in the world is water—whether it’s splashing in a kiddie pool or swimming in the creek, I’m in my element! I can’t get enough of it, so if you love water adventures, we’re going to be the perfect match.
Oh, and let’s talk about treats! I’m a total foodie at heart, and I’ll gladly show off my best tricks for a tasty reward. Teaching me is a breeze; just bring out the snacks, and you’ll see how quickly I catch on.
Here’s where I need a little extra love and understanding: I have separation anxiety and really thrive when someone can be there for me. I’ve been at the shelter since May 2023, and I’m really in need of a home that will embrace me for who I am—quirks and all. I’m not asking for much, just a family who will love me, play with me, and give me the reassurance I need.
