Bruno Labrador Retriever Mix New Orleans, LA

Bruno is a strikingly handsome pup with a sweet soul and a gorgeous glistening coat. He’ll happily greet you with adorable full body wiggles and lots of kisses.He loves to lounge in the pool on a hot summer day, so if you are looking for a friend to hang out in the pool, Bruno is you guy! He’s a notorious snuggle bug who’ll shower you with kisses, cuddle with you on the couch, or snuggle up in the bed if you’ll let him. He absolutely LOVES to be around people - the more the merrier and he is obsessed with kids.

Bruno is just under 2 years old and an athletic 50lbs. He’s an active guy who loves to play with toys and go on walks. He learns quickly, especially if there are some tasty treats involved! Bruno LONGS to be in a home where a deep bond with a human can take place. He does need to be the only dog in the home since he can be picky with canine friends, which would be perfect for that dog lover looking for one dog to have amazing adventures with! He’ll give you all of his attention, whether its hanging around the house or going for a ride in the car! He’s currently boarding at the rescue’s Stray Cafe and is good friends with the resident kitty. Bruno is fully kennel and potty trained, up to date on vetting, and will be so happy to meet you!

An inquiry, question, or introduction through Petfinder is NOT an application. All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info would be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the number of introductions/questions received (hundreds daily) we ask you submit an application on our website (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue).

The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention. Please see our website for more information.

Puppies under 12 months - $350
Dogs over 12 months - $250


*Take Paws Rescue saves dogs from high-kill shelters in Southeast Louisiana, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures. All of our animals live in foster homes where they are socialized, and well cared for. An application will be required to make sure it’s the perfect match!
