Meet Bruce
Hello, my name is Bruce! Are you looking for a silky soft, caramel sweet, love bug to follow you around all day? Then I’m your doggie! I’m a 14-pound Shih-Tzu/Maltese mixed with boundless love and an infectious zest for life. I’m even a morning person! I mean, dog.
Even though I’m on the older side (exact age unknown), my enthusiasm remains puppy-like (please watch the video of the fun game I play with my foster mom).
My foster family says I'm a real goofball, and they are having a hard time conveying my massive personality. I get along with all humans, big and small, and love to play with my canine foster brothers and sister. I’d love a forever home with another dog or two (NO CATS, please) and possibly a human who is retired or works from home, because after my shelter experience before I came to Metropolitan Maltese Rescue, I can get pretty worried when I am left alone.
Health-wise, I’m doing pretty well, though I am mostly deaf and, like most small dogs, I do have a minor heart murmur. My foster mom says I’m perfect.
If you are in need of one small Bruce in your home, please submit Metropolitan Maltese Rescue's online adoption application form, and ask for ME, Bruce!
