BRISTOL is a very loving and playful medium sized white and brindle girl. While not hyper, she does love to play and would do well in a home with another balanced dog. If a dog is reactive she may not fare as well. She plays well with her foster brother and has passed temp testing for day care at Pet Suites. She lives with two young children, 4 and 6, and does very well with them although she will grab a toy if she can! Mischievous is what she is best described as. Bristol loves to run and romp, and when she’s finished, she loves to snuggle with her people, or stretch out in a sunny spot. She is a medium energy girl, needs regular exercise, and she would make a great running, hiking, (and napping) partner.
BRISTOL also loves a good antler or other hard chew toy. She is a smart girl, a fast learner, she walks decently on a leash and is house and crate trained.
BRISTOL doesn’t live with cats, so we don’t know how she acts around them, but a meet and greet can be arranged to see if there is good chemistry.
We believe BRISTOL to be a Beagle/Terrier Mix. Her estimated DOB is 05/19/2020, and she weighs 38 pounds as of 8/20/2023.
For more information on our adoption process, please visit our website at www.youluckydogrescue.org and read our Adoption FAQ's and Before You Adopt documents. You can complete an online adoption application from our website. You can also email info@youluckydogrescue.org for additional details that are not included in this biography.
PRIVATE MEET & GREETS: Submitting an adoption application is required before a private meet & greet will be scheduled. We will complete a pre-screening first to make sure that the dog you are interested in is a good fit for you. That way, we don't unnecessarily waste your time or the foster's time.
Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. All of our rescue dogs are heart worm tested annually beginning at 9 months of age, and they are kept on monthly heart worm and flea preventatives.
The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue.
We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
