Bridgette - AWESOME DOG Pit Bull Terrier Sheridan, AR

How is it this dog hasnt been adopted yet? OMG, this is a FABULOUS dog!!! Bridgette is a very well behaved pittie who is a couch potato & snuggle bunny. Totally trustworthy of being left to roam the home while you are away. She is so well behaved!! She is what I like to refer to as a "trustee" rescue dog. All our kennels are air-conditioned indoor kennels and the dogs have to be taken out by leash multiple times a day for potty breaks
We leash everyone of the rescue dogs to walk them to the fenced exercise yards - except Bridgette. She gets to walk freely off leash beside the rest of the pack to and from the fenced play yards. When she comes back and we are putting the other dogs in their kennels, Bridgette just walks to her kennel, goes inside and lays down on her bed while she waits for us to come close her door. Bridgette is house trained (very well) and is nondestructive.

Bridgette is a 5 year old spayed pittie female who came to us very emaciated and with a terrible eye injury to her left eye that had never been addressed and needed to be removed.

While her previous life might have been a challenge, we have no doubt the next chapter holds great things and lots of love.

Bridgette is vaccinated, microchipped, spayed and ready for her new life!

This is a volunteer and veterinarian favorite!! Everyone who meets this girl absolutely loves her. She is the easiest dog we have in rescue. She gets a little over excited when she's getting loving from her person. She does some really strong "dancing around" and therefore might not be suited for a home with young children. It's very possible she would knock them down with her "Shakira " hips. :-)

Bridgette hasn't been cat tested but, it wouldn't surprise us one bit if she was cat friendly....she's just that kind of dog....one with an easy going personality and calm.

Located in Sheridan, AR but avaliable for transport to many Northeast US cities.

Bridgette's adoption fee of $300 includes a health certificate and transportation to many New England states.
