Meet Boone--Amazing Fur Baby!

Boone is an active soft coated Wheaten/Clumber Spaniel who is about 10 years old. He has been loved and well cared for all of his life and his family is devastated that they are going to have to find him a new home. He has an exceptional personality and easy to fall in love with!

Boone's personality is true to the breed of a soft coated wheaten terrier. They are very sensitive dogs. The majority of them do not do well with a lot of noise and stimulation, but instead need a calmer and more consistent environment. Now that his owners have a five year old and a seven year old in their home with other kids and their friends coming over, it is no longer the right environment for Boone.

If you would like to know what to expect from Boone, do some research on this breed. He is pretty much true to that description. Boone is an amazing dog in so many ways. He is house broken, super intelligent, and knows all of his commands. He loves to learn new commands and is very food motivated which makes him so easy to train. As typical of this breed, when he greets you after not seeing you for a while, he does the typical wheaten meet and greet. He is super excited and is quite the wiggle butt. Boone did have a furry friend in the home that passed away. Since then, he has not been around any other dog so we are thinking that he might do best in a one dog home. When he was a puppy, he was attacked by a neighbor's dog and now he is leery of other dogs. He seems to love women and men equally, so that's a good thing!

Boone is beyond amazing and acts a lot younger than his ten years. If you are at a point in your life that you are pretty settled and have a consistent routine, he will probably be perfect for you. Boone weighs in at about 50 pounds.
