Meet Boomer
Boomer came from very difficult circumstances and taking into consideration his background of being confined to a crate in a basement with many other dogs, he is doing amazingly well after his short time in foster care.
He is keeping on track with his house-training. Once the right approach was introduced, he learned right away! He sleeps all night in his crate with no noise at all. Boomer listens well and is eager to please.
Boomer would suit either a single person or a couple. Due to his background and unfamiliarity with young people, we do not recommend a home for Boomer with children. Also, he has not been tested with cats in his foster home.
Boomer would not suit as someone’s “first dog” and would benefit from having an experienced adopter. He has largely the Chihuahua personality traits so he can be somewhat “spicy”. However, he has never tried to bite at all and is becoming more confident as each day goes by. It is only natural that he will need time to adjust and feel safe in a new home.
Boomer and his foster siblings get along really well and he would enjoy having a canine friend in his forever home.
An affectionate boy who loves belly-rubs and craves attention from his human, Boomer’s foster mom feels he will be a lovable companion in his forever home. Will it be yours?
Boomer has been neutered, microchipped and is up-to-date on vaccines. He is being lovingly fostered in ANGUS, ONTARIO and his adoption fee is $600.
