Hello, darlings! I’m Bonnie!
Did you know that Corgis were the Queen’s favorite breed? That’s right, I come from a lineage fit for royalty! I’m a 4 year old tri-colored Pembroke Welsh Corgi, weighing in at a dainty 25 pounds.
But unlike the pampered palace pups, my story started a bit differently. I was a breeder release, which means I spent most of my life in a cage, never getting the chance to be a real dog. Socialization is all very new to me, so I can be pretty scared of new people and situations. I need a patient adopter who will give me the time and space to blossom. Push me too quickly, and I’ll get overwhelmed but if you go at my pace, I’ll show you just how sweet I can be.
I’d thrive in a calm, quiet home with a fenced yard where I can feel safe. I also need a confident doggy sibling to show me the ropes and help me learn how to be a dog. Other pups are my absolute favorite, and I feel most comfortable when I have a furry friend by my side.
I’m mostly house-trained and used to using a doggy door. I sleep in my crate at night like the good girl I am. The queen wouldn’t want it any other way!
I’ve been spayed, am up-to-date on all my vaccines, and just had a dental done. I’ll also come with my health certificate.
If you’re looking for a royal project pup who needs a little love and patience to shine, I could be your girl. With your help, I’ll leave my past behind and learn to live the life of a beloved companion. After all, even a Queen’s Corgi needs her fairytale ending!
