Meet Bonnie, a spirited lurcher approaching her first birthday in April. This greyhound mix is a delightful blend of spunk and playfulness. She has never met a stranger! Bonnie's enthusiasm for life is evident in her love for toys, walks, cozy snuggles, and the joyous pursuit of playtime in the yard, especially with her greyhound foster brothers.

While Bonnie is still refining her social manners, she's remarkably intelligent and responsive to training. Her exuberance sometimes translates into jumping, but with a little guidance, she's quick to learn what her humans expect of her. Bonnie thrives on being at the heart of the household, closely following everyone around to stay in the loop. Don't be surprised if her excitement turns into charming "roos" and songs.

Potty training has been a breeze with Bonnie, and she settles well in her kennel for a restful night's sleep. With her infectious spirit and adaptable nature, Bonnie is poised to bring boundless joy to any family lucky enough to welcome her into their home.

Bonnie is currently fostered with other greyhounds. It is unknown how she would do with small dogs or cats. She has not been around children; we think she would do well with respectful children, but may not know her size at times causing littles to get knocked down. This dog is being fostered in the Des Moines Area. We do not ship dogs. Adopters must be committed to meeting the dog in the area it is being fostered.

The adoption fee for HGA is $300.00. This fee pays for medical costs including spay/neuter surgery, shots, parasite treatments, teeth cleaning, microchip and microchip registration fee. Each dog also comes with a special sighthound collar and leash set and muzzle. There is a $30 non-refundable application fee.
