Meet Bogie

Bogie is a male basset hound mix who came into WBHR the end of August as an owner relinquishment. He will be one-year old on November 23. Bogie does very well with the other two dogs in his foster home, sleeps in a crate and is housetrained. DNA has been done on Bogie and he is 60% basset hound, 7% Akita, 6% Australian Cattle Dog, 4% bluetick coonhound and 2% or less of various other breeds. He is current on vaccinations, neutered and micro-chipped. Bogie finished up a month of puppy training classes at the end of October. He knows basic commands and is working on not jumping up on people and not going out the door until ‘released’ to do so. Bogie loves to play fetch with his squeaky ball and run circles in the yard.
