HEY ALL YOU TERRIER LOVERS!! Thanks for stopping by to read all about me. Check this out..... there I was running the mean and FREEZING streets of the city all by myself when (luckily) a stranger was nice enough to scoop me up and take me to the local pound. As a 7 lb canine, the pound can be a bit intimidating. However, it was warm and came with food, water and some really awesome humans to help me out. When my previous "owner" did not show up to get me, I was rescued by these cool chicks who got me right into a foster home. Not just any foster home, but the perfect one for a terrier like me! You see, I will REQUIRE other smaller dogs and/or felines in my new home. I am not "confident" a terrier mix as many like me and I feel more relaxed with other 4-leggeds! I AM like other terriers in that you must move slowly with me as I appear to have lacked positive human interaction. That means, you must have patience, allow me to bond with you at my pace and I promise you that I will make my move to sit on your lap!! For this reason, it has been decided that children would not be the best idea for me. Turns out the way to gain my trust is with treats (see video)! Since getting my dental, I can eat lots of new treats and I plan on catching up!! My leash work is WEAK (lol)! I have no recollection of ever being on a leash and it shows. So, you will have to work with me on that. I am now fully vetted and even had a full dental done....nice pearly whites now! My potty training is still a work in progress. I will say that I LOVE hanging out in my crate which will come in handy til we figure my potty habits out together. I do great on car rides and love all the sightseeing that goes along with them. Foster mom says "Bob is a work in progress but I can already see his true personality coming out. He is a sweet little dog who deserves a chance with a good family." As you can see from my pictures, I am not intimidated by sporting anything "pink"!! I DO identify as a "male canine" but have no issues demonstrating my less manly side either lol!! No judgements please haha! So, to recap, I will require a home that has another animal(s), and is able to supply the time, patience and consistency it will take to allow me to blossom !! love, bob xoxo
My adoption donation is $250 and that goes to the (Friends of Fido MCDP) so that they in coordination with CtHAR and other rescues can save more pups from the pound just like me!
