Meet Bob
Bob #728 is a 2-year-old red and white neutered male, weighing in at a very huggable 56 pounds. He’s a big lovebug towards his person with tons of energy that he directs to every dog he meets. He’s a fan of fetch and play and chase and run and any and every other active verb you can think of. Sometimes he can be a little much, but that just means he loves you! He loves to go-go-go and needs an active home with an equally enthusiastic dog partner or a family who loves activity.
Bob doesn’t like to be alone, although he is fine crated while his foster family is away. He enjoys snuggling under blankets during down time, and will do about anything for Cheerios. He’s got a killer recall at the dog park and is sensitive to his person’s needs. He also loves to swim!
Bob’s a big, strong boy who has been compared to an Energizer bunny. If you’ve been looking for a basset with the physical ability to keep up, he’s the guy for you!
Bob needs an experienced home with structure and without kids due to resource guarding tendencies. He’s learning how to share and other useful manners during his training sessions, which we encourage any adopter to continue. Look at that dopey face. Everyone needs a Bob.
