Bob is a 1 yr old neutered handsome male Shepherd mix. He stands 25 inches tall and weighs 55 lbs. Could use to gain a little bit more weight. He is also UTD on his shots and chipped. The chip needs to be transferred to new person that adopts him.

Bob lives with 1 cat and the cat tends to stay away from dogs. Bob does not appear to be interested in the cat. He also lives with 3 other dogs, and gets along great with them and enjoys playing with them. There is a 3 yr old child that lives there, but he has had no real interaction with it. He has been an outside boy only and would like to become part of the family as a companion. So since he is kept outside, it is unknown if he is house broke. The owners have a 5 foot fenced area and he has not gotten out. Bob likes toys, likes to play with other dogs and loves attention. He is very sweet and has had no reaction to fireworks. His original owner past away, and so he is looking for a new companion.

An application must be filled out and accepted before a meet can be set up. If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time.
We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes. Therefore, meets and adoptions take place at either our office or at a place chosen by the adoption coordinator.
If a pet has 'Adoption Pending' beside its name, an adoption is imminent. Please fill out an application anyway because adoptions don't always go through.
Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet you'd like to apply for.
