Meet Bob

Male, 1 year old, 43 lbs

Personality: energetic, eager-to-please, affectionate, loyal, quiet, playful, and snuggler.

Bob loves giving hugs and has never met a human who wasn't instantly a best friend. When he's not on a sniffari or playing with friends at the dog park, he will happily cuddle up on the couch or in his bed. You will know when Bob needs or wants your attention by his irresistible hound dog eyes!

A young pup, Bob is full of energy and would be a great match for someone with an active lifestyle or who enjoys making new friends at the dog park. True to his puppy nature, Bob loves to play. He has done wonderfully with the other dogs at doggy day care.

Bob is eager to prove himself to people and will do anything for positive reinforcement! Smartie pants Bob has already learned the word "sit and walks very well on the leash.

Lovable Bob is just waiting for his forever home to come along and scoop him up. Could that be you? Apply today to meet Bob!

Bob was named in honor of longtime supporter Robert Branick, whose generosity has helped save many City Dogs!

City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model).

Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us.
Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, Lepto and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis.

Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.
