Bo German Shepherd Dog & Husky Mix Olympia, WA

Bo was born 10/16/23 and has been through too much for his young age. His litter was originally rescued from a neglectful owner after two of his littermates died when they were just a few weeks old (one was sadly hit by a car).

When he was 2 months old, Bo (then Ash) was adopted by a man. The man gave the puppy to his girlfriend a few months later after they broke up. She became homeless and gave him away (supposedly). Bo AKA Ash was found abandoned at the shelter in September (tied up outside when they were closed). When the shelter opened they said they will put him to sleep due to lack of space.

Of course, we immediately went to pick Bo up and got him to an emergency foster.

We’ve learned he is still a GREAT family dog. Bo is large and small dog friendly. He appears submissive. He’s understandably shy/nervous at first but very friendly and warms up quickly. He is comfortable with men and women. He knows sit and may know come. He takes treats very gently and loves to play fetch! He would probably make for a great running partner.

Bo is looking for a home with a fully fenced yard. His neuter appointment is 10/18/24. A home visit is required prior to adoption.
