Blue American Bully Mix Brunswick, ME

Update from his foster: He’s had a few accidents in the house but overall goes to the bathroom outside. He didn’t really want to go out when it was snowing. He loves to snuggle and follows people around like a shadow. He is very food motivated and wants to try to eat our human food but he is also very gentle when we give him a treat. His one bad habit is that he likes to try to chew on hands (and toes if they are sticking out). We have told him “no” when he does this and redirect him to chew on a Nylabone or his stuffed animal. His chewing can be a bit painful so until he breaks that habit I think it would be best he is not placed with young children. He just doesn’t understand that human body parts aren’t for chewing. He’s not doing it to be mean it’s just something fun to chew. He is short and stubby but he is heavy and will be pretty powerful when he gains a little weight. So far, the little walking he has done on a leash has been fine. He does ok in the car but is a bit nervous. He prefers to snuggle with someone while riding. He is very good with putting his sweater and jacket on. He is very silly. He doesn’t quite understand how to play with toys but we are trying to get him to play with them.

This handsome American Bully is Blue. He is 11 months old and very much a baby. He just melts with kindness and affection. Blue was surrendered when his family no longer had time for him. He has been neutered and brought up to date on all shots. Blue has never met a stranger he is just the most solid minded boy. He will make a family very lucky. Blue will arrive on 12/7. He will be fostered in Naples.
