Blue Pit Bull Terrier Mix South Bend, IN

I'm a 5 month old boy that weighs 43 pounds. I was petrified in the shelter environment. I was an owner surrender because my owner couldn't afford to take care of me. A staff member went to bring me out of my kennel, and I was so scared of the leash that I gator rolled. I was pretty shut down. I'm sharing this to say, I have came such a far way. Every one is so proud of me. I gained enough confidence that the socialization for me really boosted my self confidence. It will take me 10 minutes to warm up to you and then I am your best friend. I have shown no aggression but this place is really not for me! Every day the staff gets me out of my kennel and brings me up front in the office. I am so comfortable and know the staff that now I just roll over and melt into every one's lap. On my surrender form it stated that I got along great with the two cats. I have passed dog testing with multiple dogs here at the shelter, my favorite friend here is Nova. I love her. I lived in a home with five children and do very good with kids! I have not been crated trained but the shelter recommends it because I do like to chew. I am potty trained.
