Blocker is a 1 year old (best guess) Boxer/Rottie mix. He is black and tan and weighs 38 lbs.

Blocker (like Bert and Ernie) was found in the same orchard just walking around 4 months ago just walking around checking things out, when he got lucky and the orchard owner found him and took him to the vets to get neutered, shots and chipped. What a lucky guy Blocker is.

Blocker gets along with all the other dogs and is friendly and playful. He will chase cats with other dogs, but when alone, he does not have a problem with outside cats. He has been with children 10 yrs old and up and does fine with them. He has been an outside dog only, so we do not know about house training or being in a crate. Blocker has a medium activity level and is contained in a 6 foot fenced in yard and also roams the farm which is also fenced. He is an agreeable guy and is super nice. He has not been walked on a leash or taught any commands, so Blocker is looking for someone who has the time and the love and patience to teach him all he needs to know, so he can be the best guy he can be. Maybe some training classes if that suits you.

The care taker of Blocker describes him as friendly, loving and wants to please. They also say he is a sweetheart.

An application must be filled out and accepted before a meet can be set up. If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time.
We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes. Therefore, meets and adoptions take place at either our office or at a place chosen by the adoption coordinator.
If a pet has 'Adoption Pending' beside its name, an adoption is imminent. Please fill out an application anyway because adoptions don't always go through.
Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet you'd like to apply for.
