Meet Blaze
Age: Approx. 2.5
Sex: Male
Location: Tulsa
Blaze is absolutely a fun loving very playful dog! He needs to learn basic manners, his foster has been working with him. He is a big boy at 90 pounds and truly thinks he's a lap dog! He will jump on you out of excitement and does not realize that he can knock you over, we are still working on that. He also thinks he can put his paws up on the counter so he can see what you are doing!
He loves being with his people! He loves belly rubs and getting scratches. He is a long haired shepherd so he will need grooming from time to time!
Blaze is crate trained and sleeps all night, he has foster brothers beside him in their crates. He is very vocal if you are not paying attention to him! Sometimes he doesn't know when to stop but we use a water bottle and it works wonders.
Blaze needs an active adopter who will take him on walks, and keep him busy! He barks when he sees other dogs mostly because he wants to play. Because of his size small dogs will not do for this boy, no cats either. He does good at our adoption events with kids while he's on a leash but we caution people with little kids around him because of his size and clumsiness!
Proper introductions with this boy and we suggest another large female would be his ideal match.
