Meet Blanche

Blanche with the spooky eye is about 14 years old and 9 lbs. She’s about as quintessential Chihuahua as they come. She feigns independence, but it’s clear she desperately wants a person to call her own. She’s definitely a very loyal girl and a great companion. She follows foster mom around the apartment and prefers to always be touching. She’s so gentle and docile towards mom, but she seems to be indifferent and occasionally sassy (growly and stiff) towards strangers. She is a bit territorial of her space when guests come over too. We think she would prefer having a room she could retreat to when she’s not feeling social (which is her permanent mood with anyone other than mom at this time).

She hasn’t had a single accident, doesn’t seem to have any separation anxiety, and enjoys slow walks. She would be the perfect pup for anyone who appreciates the selective, but intense love of a chihuahua. She would be so easy to please - all she needs is one or two humans to be her whole world.
