Meet Billy Bob

Billy Bob, recently rescued from the shelter, is a sweet, loving boy, who unfortunately, experienced abuse and neglect at the hands of his previous owner. From his foster: While he still exhibits occasional anxiety, he responds remarkably well to gentle, loving reassurance. Notably, he immediately formed a positive bond with my dog. Furthermore, he walks well on a leash. However, he is not suitable for homes with cats. Highly food-motivated, he has shown significant progress in the limited training I've implemented. He requires more exercise than my small yard allows. When meeting new people, he can be excitable, seeking attention before settling down. I believe proper training could help desensitize him to cats. His past trauma is evident in his soulful eyes, reflecting the significant abuse and neglect he endured. He is deeply appreciative of praise and gentle touch, a sight that can be truly heartwarming. Occasionally, he experiences bouts of playful energy, showcasing his potential as a wonderful watchdog.
