BIFF is a handsome Lab mix! He is 2 years old and he weighs 72 lbs. Biff was found by one of our volunteers wandering around all by himself. We don’t know how long this poor guy was fending for himself on the streets, having to find food to try to survive, with no family to call his own. Biff is now in a foster home soaking up all the love and enjoying being able to be a dog with no more worries.
Biff is a happy, silly, playful guy! He loves to bounce around playing with toys. It may be the first time he’s ever had toys of his own. He loves to go on walks. He is a strong guy who would love to have an active family. Biff just recently went to our event at NFM and he absolutely loved the other dogs! He also did great with the kids that met him. He will need a slow proper intro to any cats in the home. All Biff wants is a family to call his own. He has never had that before and he deserves to see what a forever family feels like!!
ADOPTING A PET
We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend. We are also open Monday through Friday by appointment. Please contact us by phone at 913-321-1445 or by email at petadoptions@kckpd.org to schedule your appointment during weekdays.
If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.
Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).
