Meet BG. BG is a particular lady. She is looking for a person who doesn't have any other pets and who will allow her to do her own thing. She loves going for neighborhood walks, watching TV, and can be a lap dog if she can jump up on her own, but isn't interested in being picked up or handled when she's not in the mood. She has lived with two chi-type male dogs who swore obedience to her, but she will not live by another dog's rules. BG would be a great companion for a single person who wants to co-exist and hang out but who is flexible with their expectations of their new dog. If you're not looking for an adventure buddy or brewery dog but you are looking for a loyal roommate-type, call the shelter Wed-Sun 11-5 and ask for BG!
