Meet Betty $400
Hi Wisconsin! My name is Betty, I am a pretty shy, petite lab mix around 9 months old and 35 pounds. Guess what? I have one ear that is always up and one that is always down! Can I show it to you? Everyone thinks it's so cute. Every day I am getting more relaxed in my foster house and more confident around people. While I need slow introductions, especially to smaller kids, once I know them I love to play with them.. I would love a doggie playmate. Despite being a little shy with humans, I LOVE other dogs. My foster sister and I play tug of war and I love chasing her around the yard. Just like any little sister, I try my hardest to do everything she does. There is a kitten that lives here too, I am learning some manners around him but I am starting to catch on that he isn't a toy. My foster mom says I have brief spurts of puppy energy, but I am mostly a low to medium energy girl. I play with any and every toy and then I take a nap.I am still very puppy so a family that is patient and willing to take me to training classes would be great. I am learning basic commands like sit and come, and the worst one - 4 paws on the floor. If I am doing something I shouldn’t, I am easily redirected and listen well. I do walk really well on a leash and I am doing really well at going outside to do my business (my foster mommy keeps me on a strict schedule). Sometimes she takes me to places like the farmer's market or a small event, I love going on adventures. Despite being timid, I really like being near my people. I do go in my crate easily, but am nervous when the door is closed or I am home alone. I don’t want the humans to forget about me. At night, I sleep really well in my foster mom's room, either on a dog bed or up by her on the big bed. Well, this is me. I hope to meet you soon so you can learn more about me!
