BETTS is appx 3 yrs old & is available for adoption!! 
Sweet, snuggable BETTS is a total lovemuffin of a dog!! She is ready for a home of her very own & has all the love in world to give!! BETTS came to us by way of our UNchain Bernalillo County support program when her previous guardian was unwilling to provide for her within the new zero tolerance anti tethering ordinance. We agreed to take BETTS into the NMDOG program & provide her with the life she deserves!! A home of her own with a family that adores her & the care every dog is entitled to! BETTS is just a perfect medium size of appx 45 lbs & is full grown. BETTS is full of affection to give & eager to learn about the new world around her. As long as she has someone wonderful to walk by her side...she will excel in anything she sets her mind to. BETTS would make a wonderful family dog in a home with older children that can participate with her training, or as a BFF to one special person. BETTS walks well on a leash & rides super in the car. She loves vanilla ice cream cones & sunset walks along the river!! Currently BETTS is in a wonderful foster home, with foster siblings of all shapes & sizes..cats too! She is housetrained & cratetrained. BETTS will need a minimum 5 ft chainlink or wooden fence to keep her safe...no block walls. As an all volunteer, foster based rescue, NMDOG is ALWAYS in need of new, approved foster homes in order to continue our work SAVING LIVES!! If you see a dog that you are interested in & it says "NEEDS FOSTER", we are currently looking for a temporary foster home for that dog in order to remove him/her from their present situation. There is never a cost to foster for NMDOG & you will have the support of the NMDOG TEAM every step of the way. Our adoption fee is $250 which includes 6 weeks of obedience training (classes located in Albq) & a complimentary vet wellness check. All adopted dogs also receive free or discounted goodies & services from many of our awesome supporters!! Grooming, food, training, boarding, pet sitting & more. All of our available dogs have received a full medical & behavioral clearance prior to adoption. They are spayed or neutered, UTD on age appropriate vaccinations, microchiped, dewormed, Heartworm tested & currently on HW/flea & tick preventative.
