Foster insights/story: Betsie was living in the streets of a small town with her friend Bonnie. They were crossing busy streets often, so I had to trap them for their own safety, as they were too scared to approach people. As soon as she was trapped she immediately became a love bug!! She is very needy because she has been starved for affection for so long. She will go play with dogs, however, she mainly wants to be with her humans. She's very quiet in her crate. She can be very shy at first with dogs and people but warms up quickly. When I first got her, she growled at dogs. She developed this behaviour as a means of keeping herself safe from the other aggressive stray dogs in the city she was living in. She has since learned dogs can be your buddies and loves to play chase with her doggy friends!! She would make a perfect loyal, cuddly family member!!
