Meet Bethany

MEET BETHANY! Bethany was a medical surrender at BARC. When they contact GDRST about this poor girl who had splotchy hair, very itchy, very thin and goopy eyes. Bethany is heartworm positive and GDRST has started the slow kill heartworm process. Bethany has been with GDRST since the first of July, as we had to get her health in a better position for adoption. Bethany has done so well in her foster home - her hair has almost completely filled in, she has gained weight.. This poor girl has been through a lot but is still loving and seeks out her humans for attention. Bethany is a bit skittish and she is afraid of the leash (probably abuse from a leash). Her only reaction is to run or look away. Patience is needed to meet and love Bethany. Once she is out in the yard she has the best zoomies! If you are looking for a dane that is out of the crazy puppy phase then look no further. Bethany is the dog for you!
ADOPTION CONTRIBUTION FEE: $350.00
In many cases, the cost of vetting services is greater than the adoption contribution. The adoption contributions help defray the costs of vetting services, but rarely, if ever, cover all expenses. Additional donations are welcomed and appreciated. Please consider making a donation to help offset medical expenses.

GDRST will have the following services completed as part of the adoption process. Each animal will be spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm tested, heartworm treated if applicable, fecal tested, de-wormed, microchipped and monthly heartworm preventative
Please note GDRST is an all-volunteer, run by individuals with full time careers. In order to meet with a Dane that you are interested in, please complete our online application. After receiving your application, a volunteer will verify with your vet the care on your current or previous animals and then contact you to set up a home eval and to discuss which Dane may be a match for you.
