Meet Bessie!

Bessie is the four-legged nap champion you never knew you needed. This snoozy sweetheart has a black belt in snoring-lullabies included at no extra cost. She's a total people-person (err, dog?) who'll happily supervise your activities from the softest spot in the room. Curious yet cool as a cucumber, Bessie finds cats interesting but not worth the drama as she calmly strolls past them. Dogs? She's also proven to be chill with the smaller dogs in her foster home who are only really interested in sharing space in the sun. She has tried to engage them with sniffs and a few play bows with no success so may do well in a house with canine companions.

When she's not snoozing or sunbathing like a pro, Bessie enjoys a brisk little trot towards a tennis ball, (Fetching? Optional. Snacks? Mandatory.) Speaking of snacks, Bessie will enthusiastically "help" with any food-related endeavors, especially if it involves treats. However despite her interest in treats, they have not proven successful in gaining her interest in getting in the car for an outing. With some assistance (team lift), she has done great once in the car.

Bessie willingly goes in her crate with treat reinforcements and sleeps through the night without issue. She will approach the door to indicate she needs to go out, but benefits from a potty schedule. She loves all people including kids and it really only takes a little head scratching for her to identify you as her new BFF.
