Bess (looks like Lab/Hound Mix) was a stray surrendered to us, so we don't have any background information. Her estimated DOB is 12/16/2021, and she weighed in at 42.5 pound on 9/14/2024. Bess is a happy, playful girl who has been here WAY too long and needs to find her forever home. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with a bit of patience, she warms up and loves to give kisses and tummy rubs! I mean, she really loves tummy rubs! Bess knows a few things like her name, come, leave-it, sit, and down! She does play well with other dogs; however you should always bring your dog for a test if you decide to adopt. Our adoption fee is $125 for small breed dogs under 20 pounds and $100 for all other dogs and cats unless otherwise noted in their bio. Every pet available for adoption is current on shots spayed/neutered, and microchipped. You may submit an application online for pre-approval and to set an appointment or you can visit the shelter Wednesday - Sunday from 11am - 5pm. Please note that the kennels close for pet viewing at 4:30pm.
